T
he Bethsaida Excavations Project
is pleased to announce the
   Bethsaida Recognition Program,*
proposed to recognize the continued
commitment our volunteer excavators and
interested individuals have shown through
their work on-site at Bethsaida and
in their home communities.


Suggested Levels of Recognition

  • DIGGER: Volunteer excavators
     
  • EXPLORER: Repeat participant on-site; possible upgrade for room after two years in dorm
     
  • DISCOVERER: Repeat participant on-site; lead groups to site--with 15 or more passengers, the Project will pay room/board (staff accommodations)
     
  • AMBASSADOR: Repeat participant on-site and has brought groups (as an ambassador) two or more times; with 15 or more passengers, the Project will pay room/board as well as one free passenger as their guest


This incentive program is designed to acknowledge your ongoing commitment to the work we are doing at Bethsaida. We hope to implement this program in September 2002 (with the first "rewards" available for the 2003 season). Your input is important, so please contact me with any comments or suggestions.

 

*The proposed program must be in accordance with the regulations of the University of Nebraska and with the laws of the United States of America. Final approval of this proposal by the University of Nebraska and the Consortium of the Bethsaida Excavations Project is pending.
